I've gotten good at dishes. I will see someone drop a spoon in the sink. I then go wash said spoon because it just annoys me to see something that takes 30 seconds to do not done.

Pfft, if you made really good food I'd wash your dishes provided there are seconds and dessert involved.

That sounds downright cozy!
I was considering a sweeter heater, but really couldn’t justify the cost for a single day’s worth of cold that comes around every other year.

I have one that my chicks and older girls use, but here it’s a lot colder (usually).

I think you will be fine, as long as no drafts they will be fine. Just make sure they have food and water and they will do fine. A couple days locked away won’t hurt them.

I know. I'm usually standing with two feet on the ground, like a chicken. I will peck you with my fist if you get way too close or touch my controller. I may also share my fries. It depends.

I don't eat those scraps.
I do make sure to scrape every last bit possible off my plate otherwise I feel bad wasting food (even small crumbs at times)..
