I do wonder, since it gives me headaches. Plus, the chicks have been spending time outside. New flock members always sdd stress, which is why I wasn’t getting chicks thus year until Little Mill’s broodiness persisted. :he They do bring ne jou@y, however.:love

Fingers crossed for you. :fl :hugs

Such joy. I loved having them this summer. Hopefully I can talk @CrazyChookChookLady into partnering with me again next summer. I'm already thinking about how to improve the coop for next time.

That is impressive! Has your coop cam had sound this whole time? Can you remind me what you use?
I have 1 coop camera that has sound. The other 5 do not. I recently added another camera and since I purchased mine originally, they have added sound to them. I love it. It is an Arlo wireless security camera system. I believe @RoyalChick bought the same system but all of her cameras have sound since it's newer. Mine are about 5 years old now, maybe 6.

If you are thinking about getting one, buy more cameras up front. I only bought 2 and now have 6. It's much cheaper if you get them up front but the system is not cheap. It's not ridiculously expensive but it does cost a bit.

They may be on the Road to Forgiveness

They hung out closer to me this morning! :celebrate I think they are on the road to forgiving me.

Hattie will eat corn of the footstool next to me but not from my hand. 😥

I just noticed that Phyllis has disappeared. She must be laying an egg somewhere. I am off to find her.

@Shadrach I have been following this thread about a blind Barred Rock hen. I thought that you might find this behaviour by their rooster interesting. I proposed early on that he might eventually behave in this manner and it seems to be developing. Just another reason in favor of roosters.
