Hi Charlie. He is a pretty boy. I love big dogs, the bigger the better. To me anything under 50lbs is considered a little dog and I refer to those as "Kick Me" dogs. No I do not kick them, may want to, but I do not. I want a GSD one day, a big black and red saddleback long hair variety. I want a pup though. I know there are people out there who rescue adults, I prefer to raise my dogs from a pup. I feel more comfortable, especially with bigger dogs if I know how they were raised and did the foundation training myself.
Haha, yeah I consider Diana to be small because she is only 45 pounds. I can’t deal with small dogs… they bark. Charlie is young and he still needs to fill out. Apollo is being a B word so… he tried attacking Charlie. Charlie is just wagging his tail. We need to figure out what to do. I would hate to have to give him back today. But it’s up to my parents.

I call my little dog "trip hazard." Hubby likes big dogs, but I was trampled by a great dane and scratched up a lot so I told him absolutely no danes. Too big.
My childhood neighbor bred german shepherds, and also bred chihuahuas (never together! ) and while I love gsd, I don't want the maintenance and training of keeping one. I'm 100% a little lap dog fan, I don't want my legs to go numb when they cuddle on my lap haha.

Tax, I love my broody poofy chicken

I like big lap dogs that are 60+lbs… You were trampled by a Great Dane?! You weren’t badly hurt, were you?

Woohoo

Mild concussion (we think, didn't get checked but I had that sleepy kind of head pain for a few days) bruises and scrapes. And a major fear of big dogs running at me!
Wow. I am so sorry that happened to you.

Apollo is being aggressive towards Charlie. Diana is scared of him, all though he is twice her size, so I don’t blame her. Poor Charlie is wagging his tail, being sweet. He’s so confused.

Apollo is barking, snarling, fur up. But his tail is wagging. Everything else about him is aggressive though. We tried to introduce them on leash outside. That didn’t work because of stupid Apollo. Charlie is inside right now on our back porch. Our porch is fully connected to our house and fully walled in. I wouldn’t consider it as “outside” like most porches. To make it more clear because I suck at explaining, it’s a room in our house that has windows instead of screen. It also has a big glass door, so Apollo and Diana can see him through there, which should be helpful.

The other day, it was 50F.....and snowing.....

I opened the door for the gang today and they had absolutely no interest in going outside - smart birds 😊 snow wind. What a change! And by Tuesday it’s supposed to be back up around 10c (50F) - oh I am sure my gang will make a break for it when I get home on Tuesday! But I will be ready for them! I have my running shoes at the ready!
