made some more cakes. got an icing tip set. not the best looking yet. still learning how to use them.

Just an update that Big Boy is still making progress and recovering. He had a coughing fit this morning and there's still discharge but his appetite and energy is better. Yesterday he spent time sitting and hunting on the side of a patch of weeds (waiting for mice to show) while the chickens foraged on the other side. Smart kitty!

Ahh. Now I'm thinking that the cat that has disappeared may have done this too someone else. He arrived to you as a grown up. Maybe he lost his way and somehow found his way back or he's taking advantage of another family

I hope so. I'd gladly give him up if I knew it to be so.

After way too many hours worked this month, I'm on my way home finally. I'll be on vacation until 13 May which means a lot of puppy and chook watching.

It’s stopped raining! Finally, and the sun made a brief appearance, the bugs must be out the horses are hanging around the back door of the barn.

The babies are up and about…

Counted 5, number 6 was under the brooder.

Look at that full crop! I am surprised she doesn’t topple over!
