Sometimes things must change. I named longitude when she was a little chick. But now she has earned her new name, because she talks so much. Her name is “Gabby” she talks all the time and never shuts up

Hubby and I were talking and he would like y'alls imput.

Should we get more chicks to grow up with the polish pair? Since the original plan was letting them grow with the incubator eggs and those eggs are now STINKY and not growing. I don't know if they would be safe to integrate as just a pair, since the silkies were older than my 4 big girls when we added them and they all deferred to the silkies being in charge.

He is totally cool with getting 2-4 more chicks, whatever the minimum is at the farm store. We obviously had planned on adding a bunch anyways haha.

It has been quite hot and humid this summer, today it was much cooler so I got some photos.

There is a world outside the coop and they are finally allowed to see it!!! She wants Aurora to know she ate LOTS of spicy food and appreciates the advice, it seems to be working.

Brownie, Lore, and Peanut, he is so darn big! He has also settled down since the spring. I’ve been having Es give him snacks and seems to have helped a lot.

Glad the boys have settled down. Tuff is firmly in his idiot phase. Whiskey keeps thumping him....and then Tuff runs to me. I'm NOT going to rescue him from a deserved thumping. He keeps it up, and I'm likely to thump him too. Having a spring without a hormonal idiot will be nice next year.

Tossed out 5 incubator eggs that were either completely clear or stinky. Pup nabbed one and ate it, oops.
Hopefully it was a dud egg haha.

Glad the boys have settled down. Tuff is firmly in his idiot phase. Whiskey keeps thumping him....and then Tuff runs to me. I'm NOT going to rescue him from a deserved thumping. He keeps it up, and I'm likely to thump him too. Having a spring without a hormonal idiot will be nice next year.

I'm imagining Tuff going "Hey boss! I was just acting normal when Whiskey came and thumped me! Do something, boss!"

If they don't have breeds you want, then don't get the chicks. If they do, then great. I've found babies integrate more easily.

There was a survey made today about the service of our water, which was all good. The survey took 5 to 10 minutes...
Aye the end of this call a thank you and goodbye. This dog wakes up and ripped out 3 very loud farts. The guy must have been shocked because the 3 was clearly heard as the dogs bottom was near the phone part. So embarrassing

Mine likes to burp riiight next to the phone. He used to bark into it, so I think it's an improvement!!!
