I'm still seeing Georgie Girl as girl. Iffy about Clyde w/the bigger walnut comb area and the tail isn't symmetrically round like Georgie's. But it's early yet to call it.

As for the white feather, our Black "Mika" is a Dark Partridge that looks all black from a distance but she had one blue feather on her tail which is gone now. She also had a faint gold collar like a pale necklace and she sported gold speckled Partridge wing feathers as a juvenile. Today she has deep rich black feathers with a very very faint gold dusting collar. As a juvenile she had a huge beak/comb and wild looking spikey feathering and if she was not a DNA sexed female I would've guessed her as male. Your Clyde reminds me of Mika. Don't give up hope yet.

Oh yes I see what you mean.

Well time will tell, can’t do anything but wait and see.

Love that small light feather on Mika’s rump/tail 😊 very trendy - it a beauty mark 🥰

Okay, at the risk of having to pay the price, I still want to speak my mind on this forum!
Years ago, during my time in the Marshall service I was asked to be awarded a higher rank and pay. The friends I knew were all Canadian men and also who showed up for my ceremony. God bless you Canadians for your fantastic support, and I do miss you people very much. 😘 🇨🇦

It's sad Mika lost her trendy "beauty mark" feather. We were able to ID her that way but she's a pretty black now with a faint Partridge collar around her neck and faint Partridge wing tips.

Mika is the black Silkie in video

She's perfectly fine. She loved yesterday and this morning she's been looking for Amori the cat by calling him outside his den, the old coop.
He's either fast asleep or off somewhere because he hasn't had his breakfast yet.

Oliver, i believe , I'm not 100 per cent sure it's him yet. But a black cat has got a den down the road.

The reason i think it's oliver is everyone confuses him with my pusscat. So when the lady said my lad was sleeping out her garden I was thrilled, instantly thinking this has to be grumpy oliver

Apparently she's set up a really comfy area for him. Her garden like mine is now rat free
Our current feral and neighborhood suburban cats seem to be catching rats too. YAY!

My mom always kept a cat on the farm for gophers and rodents. She'd let me select a kitten from a momma litter to tame and unbeknownst to me drowned the other babies. It was the way of the 1940's farmlife when spaying or neutering wasn't so trendy :(.

I can't imagine how hard that was to do cuz she really loved farm animals and had a special pet goose I remember.
