I was waiting for Rudy my Wyandottey to start his morning crowing. Soon as I started typing this, he started up. He only crows eight to ten times and then stops.
05:45 he’s fifteen minutes early

That is so wonderful. You are very talented! Is that crotchet or knitting? I sewed wedding dresses and did hoop embroidery but never learned the fine art of hooks or needles! Show more when you do handiwork!

I love how you have so many old photos with your animals in them. It really shows how much you valued your pets as way back them photos where not an easy thing to do.

It's really hot here today with no sun at all. With the garlic and onion I've eaten I'll make a delicious pot roast without being put in a pot at all

Still only August so it’s expected to have hot days- soon it will be winter and we will be wishing for summer heat! As long as you and Princess (and your little men) take it easy and stay hydrated it should be fine, stay out of the sun if it comes out…

I’m getting all these happy birthday wishes from everyone. Truth be told, this day has always been the worst day of my life. Every year something happens to spoil my peace and happiness.
I just hope that it’s not too catastrophic this time.
The stories I could tell you!

Think good thoughts and take deep breathes - put your feet up and enjoy watching the antics of your chooks.

That’s my plan for today. Several people are sick at the church even the pastor is, but I must go. I will be wearing a mask for safety.
