I'm deeply ashamed to admit that I don't know her breed. She never been a big layer of eggs. I'm the beginning she laid about 4 double yokes but soon stopped laying and the odd time she did she would hide her eggs. She's a proper little madam 🤣

She was always picked on by the others but teamed up well with Tina at the end until Tina left us.

Today I was able to put up the rest of the perimeter fencing for the chooks, and I moved the poultry netting giving them a bigger area to roam.

I had to take the netting down first:

Then moved it, the chookies have decided the big white pine is their favourite spot.

I got their “playground” finished. The bowl is up there to encourage them to go up on it as they don’t quite understand what to do. Once they have got that part figured it I am going to put it on the 3rd level.View attachment 3944403
