You could consider taping Saran Wrap over the keyboard. The Saran is pliable enough to type over the keys & cheap to re-Wrap when it gets worn out. Even w/o chickens the Saran keeps any laptop or free-standing keyboard clean of dust, lint, & crumbs.

Nice Dominique U-shape to her back.

The first couple years our Dom girls sported U-shape backs but after that they had cushions at the base of their tail feathers.

Later a cushion formed at the tail base ~ we thought it was due to moulting & the need for extra plumage for the winter months but the U-shape never returned.

She believes in nesting on my desk and then actually using a nesting box instead.

She also comes inside to steal my lunch from me.
