I would not worry too much. They are mourning the loss of one of their long term sheep residents who passed day before yesterday. I think if I remember correctly they had her for almost 8 years.

They are such lovely people. Bless them.

Being me, I have studied the scriptures regarding pets in heaven. There are many different conclusions to the subject. But my understanding of this subject has led me to believe that there will be our beloved animals waiting for us in heaven

Squeak sat on my lap today, for about 20 minutes. Sunny joined her and they kept my lap warm. Squeak has been on my lap once before, a couple of weeks ago. I don't pet her; she doesn't seem to like that.

At on point, she was resettling herself, and her foot started to slide off my knee. I put my arm around her to act as a guardrail. After she regained her footing, she looked at me as if to say, "Oh, thanks mom," and settled back down.

I love it when they get to the "I TRUST YOU" stage

Be very careful, if you look into her eyes for too long, you’ll turn into a mushroom !

Sunny is my regular lap chicken. I was honored when Squeaky jumped up. Of my Bielefelders, she was the least "touchable" of the four.

I am glad I bookmarked this. However, I swear that someone had posted abot ibuprophine use/dosage in chickens, but I can't find it, and it seems I didn't bookmark it.

Anyone have that info? @Ponypoor , @BY Bob , or RC?

I know there will be plants & animals...but will they be OUR plants & animals...we'll find out then for certain......

At some point I am going to actually write down the dosages for all the common meds for poultry!

Anywhoooo Laverne has no changes - I gave her another 1/2 dose of aspirin and that will be her last. Unless she has other symptoms.
