He was named Myra until this morning. We heard an attempted crow. I dunno what I'll do as I already have two gorgeous black roosters and need to part with one.

Thank you. My mom and hubby bought that for my macaws like a decade ago. The parrots get to go out in it in the summer still. They like talking to the chickens.

Exactly what I was thinking when I watched this video!!!

Last year I let my kiddos out in the horse paddock, I ran around scaring up the grasshoppers for the chooks to run after - it was a hoot.

It’s too hard now gathering everyone up to bring back inside….

Brrrr chilly tonight. Fluffy, Curly and Henny Penny all are snuggled up in the nestbox Georgie has been using in the Summer House. I figured they would be warm enough together so left them there, everyone else is in the Hen House A&B.

The snow has stopped - for now, but I just checked the radar and the monster squall is just about a mile to the west of me. It’s running the whole fetch (length) of Georgian Bay, running down into Toronto! That’s a good squall, Toronto will be a mess tomorrow for commuters.

I am still under a warning so likely still snow to come - oh joy…..

He is his fathers twin. Mr. P is a good boy and a lovely rooster. I cannot wait to see what George looks like fully mature. I already know, he will be stunning like his dad.

The close up of his head did it for me - he looked just like Mr P - only tamer hahaha

I have been trying to find a Vitamin D supplement for the ladies and finally came across one. I’ll buy it and try it out, can’t find a feed store around here carrying it so will have get it off of Amazon.

I am hoping that the added Vit D will help with the eggs shells I have been finding getting thinner and brittle. Or with Marty just soft.
