What a stormy Christmas! Rain all day, wind storm arriving with sundown and a midnight thunderstorm! Some of the longest thunders i have ever heard.
We had sun for about ten minutes this morning, and now darkness has returned.

Build on a strip with stall exits down the outer wall. Then you could do one stall at a time.
When I let the horses out I try to remember to close the stall doors to keep them from digging, but of course the doors are only 4’ high so they just fly over hahaha smart chooks.

Wow crazy weather!

It’s very calm here, thankfully!

Bill got us a new tiny tree this year, a dwarf blue spruce. We set it up with the gifts from my sister and her kids. They made the candles (chicken and gnome) and my niece made the felties a Rosie chicken and a penguin.View attachment 4014591
What’s with the skeletons ? Next year put some of those LED lights inside them 😉 like I did with the chooks.

Those candles are great.

Wonder if cochins come in golden laced....that would be my first guess: 1/4 silkie (or half from 2 halves), 1/4 cochin....or maybe a cochin x silkie mix crossed with a single comb (or only 1 R comb) Golden wyandotte....hmmmm...

With all the silkie traits, I'm thinking both parents were/are half silkie mixes with 2 different types of other halves....one of which was golden laced of some sort.
W/ mint green eggs Morinth definitely had a blue egg gene ancestor too.
