I went out and followed the animal tracks again. No new ones. Got some more pics.

Another print that shows the shape of the paw...

Mystery tracks on the left (mine on the right 😆)

Measured the stride. About 16 inches? This is a direct register walk. It's definitely feline.

Sit down prints under the deck...

Old, stepped on, frozen scat... Unknown pooper. Don't worry, I washed my hands thoroughly! 🤣

More urine but because of all the deer tracks I'm guessing it's just deer urine. So that's probably a deer scrape in the first pic.

It went under the deck here at one point.

Oh man, I want a trail cam!
They are fun, you can check out all the creatures that wander by.

I have been known to check my cameras outside at night to see what’s about.

And watch horses and chickens sleeping 😆

Other animals walk like that, not just cats. Here, fox and coyote will at times.
Definitely need a trail cam! The print looked more coyote-like to me today, until the under-porch steps pic. That’s either fox or fisher, or a very large cat (but the print does not look like bobcat to me).
I don't think it's either fox or fisher. Those tracks in the snow lead directly to the sit down tracks under the deck which are 100% feline. The toes are asymmetrical and the heel pad has 2 lobes on top and 3 on bottom. C shape between the toes and heel pad. No other types of prints under the deck. If it's a housecat, it's a HUGE housecat because my cat is a big boy and even his paw prints aren't that big.

Comparing the tracks to fisher and fox, neither fit. Even the alternating walk of the fisher isn't quite the same as that of a feline, but it is similar. Direct register walk of the fox is also similar but the paw prints in the sand under the deck are not canine.

Georgie and the dumplings

Can’t see them because I forgot to remove the step stool I use to climb into their pen!

The other cam I can see the pen but not easy to see the kiddos.

Meanwhile it’s mild today so the horses are outside sans blankets, they can roll in the snow and maybe the sun will make an appearance.

I have spent thousands of dollars on vet bills for my birds over the years. Bridge is my extra special girl and I would do the same for her. I just don’t know if it makes sense at this point. And she gets stressed when I bring her in the house, so I think a car ride away from the other birds would be pretty stressful for her. I might bring her in just for a check-up and an x-ray though.
How lovely she has you! 9 yrs is a nice lifespan for a bigger bird. Let us know what happens as it gives the rest of us ideas for what to do in similar circumstances ❤️

I'm sorry everyone. I had an accident by falling over outside the vets. I'm a little exhausted to be honest.

Thank you for supporting princess on the youtube ❤️ 💕.

She's had over 100 views and 16 likes. I'm really happy about that. It's extra attention towards "Dean's Farm Rescue". Plus Princess will love the attention ;)
Oh, yes, plz be careful. Falls happen in split seconds! Are you ok now?

In honor of Fluffy Butt Friday my hair stylist decided to try something a little different... Not sure how I feel about it. It's nice and warm but the danger of stinky turds is looming over me.

She was chatting away at me while she groomed my hair for about 10 minutes.

My sweet little Magrat. I think she'd hang out with me on my shoulder all day if she could! 🥰

Of course, Esme got jealous.

And here's a couple more fluffy butts:
