"Hey, do you see those guys outside? They don't know how to smooze the humans into bringing them in and giving them meal worms." Tee hee hee!

Oh goodness, my heart goes out to you. Hopefully when the water recedes the damage will be manageable. I am so so glad you and your family (human and animal) are safe and sound.

Oh no, I am sorry to hear about your horse and the toe injury for your chicken (thank goodness chickens are so resilient). Lulu’s condition however that must be worrying you quite a bit. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed they both recover quickly.
:hugs :hugs
Thanks, it’s a big worry with Lulu, unlike Laverne I can’t just pick her up and carry her around!

She’s having a snooze right now.

We're up to about 18 inches...looks like more on the peaks overnight...and I walked down with Sherlock to get the mail. Didn't get that far...found a package almost 5 feet long mostly buried in a snowbank, addressed to youngest (in 2nd of 3 schools for military...on the east coast)

according to tracking info...it was delivered Feb 10....

that's the house in the background....I had words with UPS.

After looking at the calendar, I realized it was PURE laziness. USPS delivered a package at the mailbox the same day...and another the following day. FEDEX delivered one to the porch...addressed to someone else (they (fedex) did the same to a co-worker, too)

2 days after the box was dumped

temps were sub-zero, but snow wasn't an issue.

Makes me glad that USPS is the only one transporting live animals and they hold them at the post office.

Rant over

That is just awful. Laziness. So frustrating.
