I worry the neighbor won't see it that way...They are still Alex's chick's. They were hatched on his ground and he has cared for them

Some animals are really sensitive. Bless that donkey taking care of that chicken. She has risen in the rank because of that sweet soulThat is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time. My heart melted.
Pleae keep safe Rebecca.Good grief Pike County cannot catch a break. Storms rolled through last night about 2 am. Power went out and did not come back on until 4pm. I have since found out a small tornado touched down in Coal Run Village. That is about 2 miles from my house on the 4-lane. It does not surprise me though as for about 3 minutes after the power was out is sounded like a train going through and the wind was bad. First thing I did when the storm eased up a bit was grab my head lamp and go check on the coops. Thankfully my mountains protected us and we had no wind damage other then a few tree's down on the hill which knocked out the power.
We once had that pie dish too! What memory lane! It was too deep for pies & never used it.Chicken tax for bowls.
