Getting Used to Mr. Hand

At first the chicks were terrified of Mr. Hand. Use Mr. Hand to deliver Mealworms and they change their tune. They now run to Mr. Hand when he comes in. They also know that when the wire comes off treats are likely to come and wait with anticipation.

We were visiting with the wire off today and Nimue decided to try and roost on the lip of the trunk. I held out my hands so she could walk on them to turn around and hop back in the trunk when she was ready. It was a very nice visit.

She's a good flier then. Perhaps she could help with your airplane?
You are trying to make a joke aren’t you? Listen Bob, I’m here licking my wounds from today. That hen was teaching the little ones how to bite me, and where to bite me.
No way would I ever consider flying with that SoS 👿

Of course I was. :gig :gig

I miss going out with my old flocks treats plate and them all racing towards me.
How is Nancy Rose doing after surgery? Does she follow you around...although that's usually a very young pup's thing. I remember a radio host who said her poodle would follow her around the house w/ those tap tap tapping toes that drove her crazy sometimes that she would close the poodle out of the room sometimes so she had a little peace. Of course she loved the poodle but I laughed at the tap tap tapping as I remembered all the dogs we had & how they pranced after us all the time 🥰

Loved my Jiggy ~ never left my side when I was home & walked me to my school bus every morning & waited at the bus stop when I got home ~ how did he know what time to wait?
