The incubator I'm product testing has arrived and is warming/humidifying up. I will move 3 or 4 eggs over to it tonight. It doesn't count down days, so I need to mark down when to take the turner out. But it came with a quail insert as well!
Honestly I plan on this being a backup or a hatcher if needed. It is very basic, makes my impeckables one look fancy.

Nobody went broody here this year. Tomatilla went broody for a few days earlier in the year but she got broken somehow. Wish I could have just one broody per year, it would make life easier!

Need a guaranteed broody? Get at least 3 Silkie females ( never get just one small bird among a full-sized flock of birds ) & one or ALL Silkies guaranteed to go hard broody even before they're a year old I have 5 females & all 5 went broody at the same time this past Spring.
