You've never used a broody breaker have you?

Never, don’t have to time to monitor them. As long as they don’t spend too long being broody I am happy to let them stay.

But if they get past 5 weeks I start seriously thinking of fostering chicks like I did with Sophia and Georgie.

So much risk with that, risk they won’t take the chicks then I am stuck raising a bunch of chicks. Thankfully that has only happened once!
