I'm going to be his medical foster. He broke both back legs, will need one amputated, and one will have pins placed in it. No idea what happened, but he is only 10 months and super friendly so the rescue is giving him a chance.

These are his x-rays. He has another consult with a surgeon on Monday. Hopefully he'll have surgery ASAP and then he'll recover here. The rescue is providing every thing he needs. I'll just tend to his medical issues and aid in his recovery.

You have a good heart. I can't do that. I would have 40 cats. I'm not strong enough to give them up.

Did he just arrive? I'm sure he'll get lots of love and support while he recovers. Good on you for fostering CCCL. ❤

OK, finally, is this video visible? This was right after Queenie flew out of the divided area. [EDIT - last week! It was their first physical encounter] Hazel had flown into it, pecked at her some, ate her food, foraged a bit, pecked her more, and then flew out after I was stepping over to change the water. I see this is small and narrow. Should I video with the phone sideways (like panoramic?)

I have to say... for a first physical encounter, not bad at all!

Ok, caterday pic... here are the siblings. We took in these two when our neighbor had to move and couldn't take them with her. She had raised them from kittens. After her husband passed moved across the street from us as a caretaker, then he passed and she was moving in with her elderly mother. They had already been mostly living at our house for months by then. Little did we know we would have to move 6 months later!

Once called little, that he isn't. They look so sweet together, that usually occurs after much hissing and arguing they are 14 years old.
