I just LOVE your boy! In my mind he's as soft as silk and smells slightly of cinnamon.

You're torti is adorable too! She looks much nicer than my Marigold.

He is very silky but I’d be worried if he smelled of cinnamon! He does have his own cat-smell, which is quite nice.

Heavy Rain

It has been raining hard all day. The yard is nothing but a series of puddles. Even the heavy rain could not completely dissuade them from leaving the dry complex. Of course, they still wound up in tight quarters.

Here's a bad photo of my girl years ago. Ya'll are thinking by now, what chicken didn't she have? lol...I hatched! Still hatch, but I wanted to see as many different varieties as I could. It was fun. I found out which ones were sturdy, sun or snow. Which ones laid. Which ones went broody. Which ones were more friendly..and not. View attachment 2548532 Yes, I'm old. Had a few years to find out. Here's my Barny, used a bad camera. My phone does much better now. Her colors were much more vibrant. Not as much as some. Definitely not show quality. They can be, or not. Sweet chicken. They don't lay as well as some. Hardy girl. Friendly too.
