They still have them but they are much more under control now. Fewer bad hair days now they are grown up.
However, they do have bad fluffy butt days whenever it is windy they seem to get their tails all turned inside out. It is very cute and very funny.

I watched Hattie turn almost inside out during Isabel's storm. It's soooo funny. She was indignant over it. She turned to give the wind a glare. Funny.

Yes! It’s tiresome! But I am just starting to paint.... a lot! So it’s actually perfect timing as I can do nothing in the yard right now...

That's about right. I can talk to the other critters but there is no reasoning with a nesting magpie.

I use duck eggs when I bake. The extra large yolk makes cakes and cookies so rich. The flavor is much too strong for me to eat like a regular chicken egg.
