We are thrilled she reached egg laying successfully. :ya
She even got some pork chop last night in celebration!

It's funny because we started with white leghorns and the same boring white eggs you get in the store. Then we added Patsy and Lilly and were super excited by brown ones because they looked more "farm-like". Now we were praying for green. Sometimes we are just never happy I guess. My wife was so excited when I told her that our little princess laid yesterday. Then she saw the egg and went shoot, no green. I think she wanted to shock people af work with a dozen green eggs,! Especially those people that think you need a rooster to get eggs!

I showed my cousin a pic of my eggs and she says.. your chickens lay Easter eggs :D

all three... hoping for some pretty colored eggs :fl... since their feathers are so pretty maybe their eggs will be too :lol:
