I didn't know she had surgery. For what?

Eve had open heart surgery is September to close a hole in her heart. She was in a bad way and was not growing. Since then her recovery has been spectacular.

U dont have to wait i would bait it while your there see if u catch it, bait it when your gone and its proped if you dont. Coons love marshmellows and its not a huge mess to clean up plus cats dont like it. Thats part of how trappers catch only their desired prey.
 
The article is quite long but FASCINATING! I really loved reading it. Thank you for posting. Lots in there to take on board. The different maternal styles particularly struck me. I am sure all of you who have roosters and hens that raise chicks must have seen that.
I'm writing a paper on broody strategy. I got a very small grant to study and report.:p
