I found caterpillars have eaten my broccoli now there's slug eggs in my bag of compost. What next

Shall I throw salt in the bag or let the chicken munch them out

Have to comment that the pattern looked like stylized chickens to me just now. And for several seconds! Then looking closely I couldn't find any. But still...glancing at it I see them again....dancing chickens!

So Ruby is doing so well, there’s no way I’m having her euthanized right now. This morning I put some aloe Detox in her morning crop feeding. I’ll do that for a few days and see if it helps with the swelling. I’m still bracing myself for if it in case it becomes time, but we’re not there just yet.
