If I remember rightly, when Alice had her big moult she started at the neck and shoulders, then the back and tummy , then the butt and finally the wings.

So Ruby is in my lap and I believe she is dying. It seems her digestive tract may have shut down. She ate and drank what I brought her when I got home from San Francisco, but she is drooling intermittently. I’m pretty sure she’ll be gone before Tuesday if not tonight. My poor, sweet, valiant little warrior.

Thanks to both of you. It’s over. Rest in peace, my love.

You all are probably tired of them now! Haha, i always call him my little misfit, he has a calico tounge (like black and yellow patterns! Just how a cats mouths can be like mix matched) with his black and yellow spotted feet and bright green unmatching feathers! Still a cutie though.

What an impressive stance. He is quite imposing! (and beautiful)

Ok peeps, I have a conundrum that I need input on.
This is the prefab I have now that becoming derelict. I hate it which is why I’m looking to upgrade to the cubby coop idea…

ok, so I’ve just seen this and other than difference in height the living space is roughly the same size as the cubby I was going to purchase.

Now, after I fit a floor, raise it on stumps, add ventilation, windows, nest boxes, and all the other stuff to make the cubby safe and secure for my girls, it will end up costing me at least $100-$150 more than this one.

All I’ve bought so far for my project is paint so…I’m torn.
As I said, I’m not handy with building so I tried to keep my plan simple for a build but for me, that’s a fair chunk of money. And considering what the girls have now the new prefab is a fair but bigger.
They roam each day so the size of the run isn’t worrying me (and at least it is covered unlike now in the run.)
And I could add more roosts in the prefab, and use my paint if I want to hahaha.

I hope this all makes sense!

I'd be inclined to get the coop. If you paint it it will last longer and would be easier to "tweak" to suit your needs. You could also raise it up on stumps to get it off the wet ground and add a skirt of heavy duty wire around the base.

Ok I was pretty curious to check if it was fertile so obvs I cracked it and it had no rings according to me so I don’t think grocer’s one works but it was fun to try I guess

You should see moana,those Kakamora coconuts are pirates so coconuts don’t only migrate they’re cute Pirates.(speaking of cute, they also carry daggers,so not that cute)
