Well I think the lump I broke up in her crop was real and the long grass I pulled out of the other end.
So maybe not just molt.
I am going to try and weigh her again today.

Oh, right! Duh! The crop and butt grass! I knew that… just spaced on it.

What a treat. Always love your videos. Everyone looks so happy. Have been meaning to say for a while, I have a bit of a thing for Little Mill. I think she is such a pretty hen.

Thank you! I agree. Plus she is very sweet (except when she’s a hormonal wreck pouncing on subordinates) and her feathers are oh so soft!

So every morning I am first up here… by a few hours, even on weekends It’s just the dog and me sitting alone in the dark (my eyes aren’t ready for lights). It’s always nice to find someone on here to talk to.
