So patient!
Do the ladies know that they mustn’t fraternize with the Secret Service Agent when he is on duty?
I learned this the hard way by petting the dog at Wilmington train station who was on duty with Biden’s SS detail.
I got yelled at pretty sharply “hands of the dog Ma’am made everyone turn and stare at me! In my defense the dog nuzzled his nose into my hand and looked at me with big melting eyes. I may be a cat person but I am really an animal person and I couldn’t resist.

Phyllis does not understand that at all. She is constantly running across the agent's feet.

A Surprise Treat

While they were free ranging yesterday, with secret service protection, the tribe found a treat. Lilly has first dibs but Hattie loves apples. Fortunately Aurora does not like apples.

Wow Hattie is soooo patient. Politely deferring to Lilly. But boy, she digs right in once it is 'her turn'. She is such a lady!!

Oh, Wow...I think I would give anything to be close enough to actually be yelled at by the SS.
(Just once, though, for the experience....I'll let myself out now.)

My Tony boy is sitting with me , I did get the fire going and headed in for cup#2, Grrrr I dont want to go out to the coop. It didnt get light till 7:15 /30ish yesterday

That weather shot makes me glad my son flew out yesterday, before the snow rolled in. He made it safely to boot camp, so now no news is good news.

I skipped about 300 pages a few months ago, there was just no way I was going to catch up. I didn’t want to; I just kept running out of time. As it happens, I’m 30 pages behind again!

Yes, I stopped relatively early because I couldn't do both, and sad events were much too stressful for me at the time. But now and again I go back, and read a bunch forward.
