Ok; I’ll trust you on this, as I don’t really know!Most grocery store eggs are cleaned, but not pasteurized. And they are cleaned with more than water.
Some of my girls’ crops slow during molt, too. I don’t get it. Everything slows down to conserve resources, maybe?She is looking good but her crop is still not emptying over night.
I realized too that she is far from over her molt. I was looking her over during a break in morning crop massage while she consumed coconut oil pieces and there are a lot of pin feathers coming through. Some of them are huge!

Mine would do that, too! Or build a nest out of it.You must have a more delicate strain of mouse than I do.
I put peppermint oil on little cotton swabs and the mice ate the cotton!
