The problem I have, (is my Barred Rock hen I sing to), is Rocks-Anne. Her song goes like this “ Rocks-Anne, don’t put on that red light. Rocks-Anne, don’t sell your feathers through the night” “ Don’t walk the run for money, you don’t care if it’s wrong or if it’s right “ :idunno
Haha! You might have to change those lyrics. Maybe I can help come up with some.

Alarm!

I was out in the run with the ladies for a while today. It was kind of nice as there was a song bird or 2 about. We were snacking and talking and relaxing.

Then I heard a song bird alert. Phyllis darted under the big coop and here is what the rest did. Listen close and you can hear Aurora giving the growl.

I never saw any hawk but I can see very little from inside the run with the plastic up.

She could have been crushed accidentally. :(
Nope likely they are very small squares, I only throw down 9 for the week. When I throw hay down for m the now I lock the chickies away. Once I am done throwing them down I let them out to play on the pile 😊 chicken playground.

The bales are not big, Buttercup say hi!

I love how absolutely still they are- its like a really good game of freeze tag!

Found it!

Speaking of songs for our chickens, I have a few that I sing lately…

Bridgey’s Song (to the tune of Bicycle Built for Two)

Buttercup (to the tune of Lollipop)

You Are My Sunshine

Sunshine on My Shoulders

You are my sunshine is the song I sing to the hens when we're in the car together :)
Hattie Hattie bo battie, be by bo battie, Hattie!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Phew!😌 I'm glad I'm not the only crazy chook person that sings and talks to my chooks! ;)
Though I don't sing to them in the winter due to my asthma, I do have 'conversations' with them - both in human and in chicken speak:rolleyes:😜🤪😆🤫
