They remain very much on edge. Did you hear the absolute silence? No song birds at all.

There were no birds at all here this morning . They brought in a culling law of wild birds after new year , too protect our hawks and eagles. I heard a lot of shooting going on the other day, it's more than depressing.

Cold windy and yet more rain here.
It was below freezing at 3am but warmed up this morning around 8am

My girls are all in the coop. I found out mushrooms are okay for them. So this morning they had pellets with garlic and squash with mushrooms slightly cooked in olive oil as a treat this afternoon.
