@BY Bob I'm curious, what are the dimensions of the Cluckle Hut? And, how high off the ground did you built both of your coops? I think (but am not sure) your coop floors are lower to the ground then mine, but sometimes camera images can be deceiving. I need to build another one this spring and would love your thoughts on pros & cons of your coops. Thinking in terms of what exactly I will 'tweak' with mine.
See the photo below for dimensions of the Cluckle Hut. It is raised up 24 inches while the main coop is 18 inches. I made this change so they don't have to duck when going under the house. The 2x4s I used to frame everything out extend down under the floor so the chickens must duck to get under the main coop. This camera shot shows the support beams under the main coop.

This shows Betty under the Cluckle Hut. Even with her neck fully extended she would not hit her head on a support beam.

The porch on the Cluckle Hut extends out another foot to the right.

The full plans for my main coop and run are available on my coop article. The link is in my signature. What I would change about the main coop is listed there as well. The big thing about the main coop that is a bear is that single long roost down the length of it. I don't know what I would do differently but that roost frustrates me at times.

My favorite part of the Cluckle Hut is the drop and raise doors. I can open the whole side up. That makes it super easy to clean and move things around inside.

🤔That would seem about right, molt wise, then!🤗

Edit: the broody molt, that is. The Nov/Dec molt should have been earlier...but yes, that would have been a soft molt too for tail & maybe wing feathers mostly...light/partial molt other places.
Yup the timing was right for the molts but during all that time she did not eat normally, hence the weight loss.

I've been with Tina most of today, she's hurt her leg somehow I hope I can resolve this I gave her a natural anti inflammatory today so hopefully it will ease soon.

There was a lot to do this morning with the coop and I'm so tired

Good night everyone 💤😴
Good night Marie. I'm sure she will feel better after a night's rest.
