Really, mum, you're no fun!
i just found out last night that Fish & Game planted 350 turkeys several years ago about 15 miles from my place. the next year, another 200. The area: along a major river near me. they're doing well, but haven't spread up the creek far enough to meet my place....yet. my reaction
I thought they would be all over the area anyway and had been puzzled on why hadn't seen any. On the other hand, 52 head of antelope on the bench in the middle of the valley is a bit shocking. i always thought they stayed out of the mountains (including the valleys: how did they make it here?) because they like wide open spaces like the eastern part of the state...

That's very cool. I love to see wild turkeys. They are very wiley animals!

Good morning everyone. While it is going to hurt for a while over the loss of Poppy, one way or another the other chickens will find a way to put a smile on my face. Chiquita did just that this morning. When I let them out of the coop she was on my heels pecking the back of my boots following me to the grain bin. I opened the lid to the whole corn and the little devil flew into it to her own private feast. She was making such happy noises as she ate that I left her in it until I had everyone fed and watered. When I did lift her out under protest, the little pigs crop was huge. She then went on a mission to dig a hole to china to dust bath in. Instead of dust bathing, once dug she is passed out in a breakfast coma. I'm amazed at how smart she is, she is the first and so far only one who has ever flew up into the bins. They all know the food is stored in them, but even spoiled Butter will just stand in my way to ensure she gets to eat out of the coffee can first before anyone else. Lets hope Chiquita does not teach her to fly in them. If Butter learns that I'll never be able to evict her.

The amoxy-tyl looks the same as what I have. The Baytril on this site is generic and I can't speak for it but I think it would be ok. All Bird Products has Bayer's brand name Baytril. I have never used this site and can't speak to if they are real or not.
I'll get the Baytril from All Bird Products and wait for re-stocking. I just wondered if you've heard of the other site and done any business with them. I checked out Chewy which also does not have the items exactly (but I trust them).
I just noticed the other site (Gouldians) has a picture of the same All Bird Products bag, but it is fuzzy and unreadable. That is a a red flag. Then, more importantly, I compared the description which says 30g tylosin and 15g amoxicillin per 100g. That is not the same as the All Bird Products bag which is readable and has on there 10g tylosin, 15g amoxicillin. Hmmm I'll pass on the Gouldians web site, don't want to fool around with these kinds of things.

I do think that @Kris5902 posted that she had ordered from Gouldians before. Is that right Kris?
