I have come to the conclusion, that my chicken friends are completely crazy! I’m thinking that it’s probably the living situation that they are in. Seems like everybody In this Valley, are missing a few screws in their machines! (Just my opinion) :old :idunno
Did the rock garden get clever and learn to remove screws?

Yes. I think raccoon and fox and a big bird. None were my hens unless they are letting themselves out at night. I think it must be a wild turkey. I haven’t seen any this year but they are usually around so probably I just missed them.
I do have opossum but I don’t see their prints there.
It is a real wildlife superhighway! It is somewhat sheltered by the roof overhang of the Chicken Palace so everyone goes that way.
Yes. Got them all! :yesss:

It looks like there is some labored breathing...the amount her body is moving...but she seems calm and isn't acting like she is uncomfortable. ??

So, just a shot in the dark...especially given her age. Could she have PCOS? I had a hen like this. At the end she really had difficulty breathing. At first I thought ascities because the abdomen was a but distended, too...but had not vet to consult & I was terrified of syringing fluid out improperly & hitting an orgam/intestinal track. When she passed I did an informal autopsy. She was FILLED with 23 clear (all but 2) fluid sacs...ranging in size from a pea up to golf ball size! She was 5. (DC) I read after that approx. 20% of hens 5 & up fed non-organic feed will get this. I no longer remember f soy played a role, too, or not. This hen had standard/non-organic feed for the first 2 years of her life. After that I had been feeding organic almost exclusively (I couldn't find a good organic scratch, so that wasn't organic for another year or two,)

I will see if I can find the article again. I had saved it in my browser, but that computer died last spring. :(
I'm not great with abbreviations. PCOS?
