Put the box in the brooder, load chicks, close box, remove from brooder, move brooder, move box back into brooder, open box, expect explosion followed by sudden stop.

Whatever you do, don't trip when moving the brooder.

It's hard but you need to remember that the people on this site span the globe so lunch time is a different time for 24 hours. How could they pick?

They do this for fun every year. Do all jokes land with all people, nope. It certainly was done in good fun. No malice was intended.

Mugs Monday

I went back into the archives for this one. I wanted to find a new photo of the greatest hen ever. something never before seen.

My war with the crazy neighbors continues.
Someone threw pasta noodles over the fence. To my surprise, there were mothballs mixed in with the noodles.
Hopefully, I cleaned up the mess, before any of the chickens had a deadly feast!
I would love to catch the culprit red handed. But so far, no such luck.
