I am having a very good time today. Last night my sister moved out into a apartment with her boyfriend. Mom is a mess, but, Sara gave Rosie her bedroom. As soon as she left with her last load Rosie started moving her stuff in. I admit I was having way too much fun throwing the mountain of stuffed animals across the hall at her. I also did not realize just how much stuff crammed into my room was hers. When she gets everything out it is going to be empty. It will also be a relief when she has sleepovers that I no longer get kicked out of my own bedroom to the couch.
Ahh, some comfort at home for you, finally. :thumbsup

I would upgrade latches to carabiner based ones that the fox absolutely cannot open. Like these.

My horse can undo those latches. I have to use these to lock her stall door latch, otherwise she escapes.

I was very relieved to hear Jaffar crowing out in the yard. I had thrown out some scratch with safflower seeds on the ground and the chooks started scratching around for it. Jaffar started feeding as well. Now, they are all chasing June beetles, that started showing up today. I’m keeping a close eye on the little guy today though.
I am glad he is rallying, how old is he now?

That's wonderful! Glad for a good day for you.

I remember as a teen having to give up my bed to my great aunt when she moved up for m newfoundland after her husband died. I spent about 6 months sleeping on the Chesterfield.... It was an adventure to first few days but it didn't take longer ng to get old real fast.

Of course I never complained, we kids wouldn't dare!

Wow fussy hen! Turning down a live fly!! It's chilly here so the flies are all stunned - you would think Sophia would all over it like an ant on sugar!!

I even pointed it out there her!!
