She’s a house broody (and she keeps me company) she likes YouTube videos, like Jaffar does.
Ok good to know, this should make it easy to set a routine for both you and her to help her out being her first time. Pick a time and if she has not wanted to come off by then each day remove her and put her outside. If she has not decided she is done in a hour, bring her back in yourself. The eggs will be fine. I would also not turn on a heating pad while she is out, they are in more danger of getting too hot then getting too cold. If you want to you can just cover them over with a blanket or towel. If she seem lethargic while on the eggs do not panic, she is actually in a trance while sitting there. She will have enough sense about her to turn the eggs, or shriek at you if you walk by but she is not going to be actively shuffling about or talking. If the eggs are good, you will hear her start softly talking to them once they have made that internal pip. If you are lucky and sit beside her then you may even be fortunate enough to hear the chick peeping back to her.

She really likes processed sliced ham. But that’s not good for her (it’s not good for me either) so it’s only a little treat. Not a regular food.
I fed Sydney as much cracked corn as she wanted while she was broody. You just want them to eat. Phyllis eats chicken feed. I guess she likes it.

Was high of 50f on Monday, rainy, etc. Friday supposed to be 90f. We've at least been getting rain the ground can absorb. Some areas (like Yellowstone) got so dry last year that water is just running over the surface. Combine gully-washer rain storms with warm temps flash melting the snow and you end up with washed out roads and the Park closed, likely for the whole summer to get roads rebuilt/moved. The river wasn't washing over the roads in the park, it was cutting the bank away and taking road beds with it. With the ground as dry as it was, cool temp, slow melts, and drizzly days are needed. Tax pics to come later. New phone arrived, took some pics to test out the camera, still getting other stuff set up.
I saw that n the news, Calgary is also getting rain warnings.

Glad your new phone arrived can't wait to see your kiddos 😊

She’s only on day five I’m thinking

Then again, smoking cigarettes is detrimental to good health also, (just saying)!
