When my back hurts I'll chase the ibuprofen with beer or brandy. Last time I injured my back I'd lay in the jacuzzi tub for hours. Prayers for your pain to ease my friend.

That jacuzzi is a good idea. Soon as the chooks are safely perched, I will go do that!

Hugs Alex, I know 100 percent how uncomfortable. Sitting, and standing, and laying around is very bad for sciatica, and your back in general.

My go to for that is Aleve. I can send you some stretches which can help, but at our age (of 19), it's more or less a given that we will have issues. My mare Truly has back issues - she tells me it's because I rode her too much... I tell her it ain't so, as she had me on my arse on the ground more than in the saddle
