I took my sandwich out to the patio to eat. But the chooks came out of hiding, and (“yummy, a bacon, ham, and pepperoni sandwich, let’s get him!”) I was only able to eat half . Then I was brutally attacked!

I swear they are just like children. Won’t come in until after I call them back by name. (Jaffar usually does that, but he was first in the coop) so they are all back in there now. I’m going home!

The heat made Gorda sick so I bathed her in cold water and have her sitting on a wet towel in the floor. She's eating and drinking now but when I found her in the coop she was almost unresponsive and couldn't raise her head
