Pics are good too. :) I could probably sort it if I was there ~ but I'm not... :D John is like you so I know it is probably a time issue. These things can be incredibly slow. I often go away & do something else for 1/2 an hour or so & then see what's happening.
I did that :gig... for at least 35 minutes or more!

This is my new way to hold them... they really like it.. Mak is one of my skittish gals and I could even hold her like this .. first time ever!! I can hardly touch her usually.. yall should try it... their feet are on the stool between my legs.. and body resting on my legs.. they also like it if you are on a chair and their legs just hang down.. I am going to have to try this. Very cute.

Don’t know how .. but the girl does.. but I think my email will show and I’m tellin ya I really don’t think there is anything I can do at that point... it gets to what looks like 95% finished and then just freezes there... I’ll try again... but I’m also afraid that it could possibly crash my tablet and then I lose my pics and contact with you lovely people! :hit

What kind of tablet is it? Can you take a screen shot of when it hangs up?

I have a Samsung tablet and an iPad as well. Maybe one of them similar and we can figure this out..

What could they be looking for?

My girls have become obsessed with planters. I can't figure out why but over a few weeks they will empty all the dirt out of this planter. Aurora starts it and then everyone joins in. I can't figure this one out.

Earthworms? I get quite a few below grass level in my grazing tyres. ( Like grazing frames except made with car tyres ;)). My girls love turning the soil over and getting them all out when I take the cover off before replanting.

Researchers say they have categorized as many as 30 distinct chicken calls. I feel it is important that as their partner we understand as many as we can so we can assist them, change their environment as needed, etc.

I think the only way to do that is to hang out and watch them. Learn through experience. It certainly is the most fun.

When I'm sitting observing my chooks I feel like an avian version of Jane Goodall

I'll have to try that with Pepper... if I can catch her

How would earthworms get in a hanging plant?
