I don't use the email notifications. Just come in here and watch alerts and watched threads. The email would drive me crazy. You must be getting hundreds of emails every day!

I need to turn the emails off. I have thousands of them.

This cracked my wife up. She says our chickens get breakfast service as everytime I let them out, they follow me to the deck, and I give them leftovers.

I haven’t seen them around it; it will probably take them a while to get used to it. I made them some steps to play on and it took them ages to get up there. I did pick Lucy up and pop her on the stack; she explored it for a little bit before she got down but I’ve noticed it takes a bit of time for them to get used to new things.

When you follow a thread, you can choose not to get email notifications. But, I just set up my Outlook account to move messages from BYC to deleted automatically, because I didn't want to go into every thread and make that choice.

I won't do the production breeds because of that ~ & some of them are too domineering for my liking. I do better with skittish than I do with aggro.

I’m moving away from Isa Browns, and I’ll stay away from leghorns for the same reason. No disrespect to Daisy, the greatest hen ever.

To turn them off, go to your profile, select preferences.

Then you can select to turn off automatic emails. Hit save at the bottom.
