I love fantasy too @Ribh - what are some of your favourites? I've read a fair bit of Tolkein, also really enjoyed Pullman's 'His Dark Materials', The Chronicles of King Ro;en's Kin bu Rowena Cory Daniells and have recently been getting into Anne McCaffrey's The Dragon Riders of Pern series.
My all time favourite fantasy writer is fellow Brit, Joe Abercrombie who write gritty, grimdark fantasy, full of morally ambiguous flawed characters.

I’ve got Pullman’s ‘Dark Materials’ trilogy, I re-read them fairly recently. It was recommended to me when I was living in the UK.

Here are two of the broodies in banishment... and there is Cutie the white one.. she managed the same thing as yesterday... I found her in the nest box again after putting her out this morning.. have NO idea!! But I put her back out in the yard and she hasn’t done it again... I was watching her with camera ready for a good forty five minutes but nothing! Not sure if banishment is working.. it’s the perfect setup so long as it doesn’t rain... I can keep them out here all day... they were out all day yesterday but as soon as I put them up for the night they all went straight back to their nests!! ....

I lived in London for almost six years and I wanted to do something in the music industry. I ended up doing a film-scoring course which was great, but eventually my husband wanted to move back to Australia, so we did.

I don’t know about that.... perhaps if there were eggs to hatch then yes, definitely!
