Those wrens grow like weeds. Wow!Any day now?
An update on the wrens. Looks like the parents are getting fed up of diaper duty so the top of my cabinet is getting a bit messy. Two sort of fell out of the nest today in their enthusiasm for a snack and they look pretty well feathered to me - but they scrambled back in and don't show any interest in leaving home yet.
And just for good measure here is Maggie upset at me because I stayed outside the Palace (working on the wiring) and didn't have time to come in and pay my respects as I should.

Do it! We need more baby pictures here. The trouble is, watching the baby birds makes me want to get some little chicks really badly. I mean I have the space.. .. ..!
What do you tell people Shad? (I need to go mow my roof)?I don't seem to have a full grip on this gardening business. My roof is a total jungle.

Update: Connie is doing better now, We sat and talked for a long time. Then I ran a few errands for her, did her laundry, cleaned up her kitchen, made us lunch, then went home to see my flock, and collect eggs. Cleaned my barn/coop. Then waited till all the birds came in. now I'm resting, typing to you peeps on BYC.Well, my plans for the mountain trip will have to wait. My neighbor called this morning and is feeling poorly. I watch out for her, because she has no one else. Bible says to care for widows and orphans. So. that's my plan for today.![]()
