Forgive me, I know the following information isn't chicken related...but it has wings...:D

My son designs 3D airplanes...he is very talented, everything he does is self taught! Here is the latest one he did...it's completely his own design, he's finally finalizing the design...Covid kind of messed things up! You can see the others he's done on his YouTube channel! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7aSxYosPz9UiaV0za61nVg
His Flapjack won a competition it's a WW2 plane! The people in the remote airplane community are patiently or impatiently waiting for him to release the build plans for his current plane - The Revenant MK IV! He wanted to keep the landing gear, but hasn't found any of good enough quality! I have expect him to set up to make and sell his own someday!

The Maiden! The picture you see here is a computer rendition...when you start the video you will see his first prototype! :)

Just have to show his Flying Flapjack, this was flown at Flight Fest in Ohio
They are so fast! Model planes have come a long way since we were kids. 🛩

I’m just too much of a softie to drown them... and releasing them doesn’t work. I’ve accidentally caught mice in just plain old 5 gallon buckets accidentally and felt awful when theY have turned cannibal or starved in them because I’ve not needed the bucket... I like the good old snap traps in good repair, quick and clean and I don’t usually have to finish anything off. Which is something else I can’t stand having to do.
I'm the same. I want a fast, guaranteed kill. I don't want them suffering.

You can always put snap traps in the bottom of the bucket! These things can seriously catch a lot of mice, but you would definitely have to check it daily!!! I'm a softy about some things and don't like to see something suffer either! :)

So do I. While a full university education is an amazing thing, it is bankrupting today's students. There should be another choice.

Mrs BY Bob is a great nurse. She could never have afforded college. She went ro nursing school and got her RN. You can no longer do that. In fact most hospitals are requiring people like her to get their BS. It makes no sense. How does learning American history make her a better nurse. A better person yes, nurse no.
My daughter and DIL are both nurses and they both have their BSN! It opens way more doors, but the other classes are a joke and just a way for the colleges to make more money! I also don't like a lot of what's coming from a good portion of the professors. I believe in education...not indoctrination!

I am with you on the snap trap preference. I also have a rat zapper (an electric chair for rats) which works well if they are hungry enough to go in. But with so much chicken food on the ground nobody is going anywhere near the traps.
You should build some of these pipe feeders RC...zero waste and I haven't seen any mice in them, but I'm not out there at night, but I never see any droppings which would be there if they were getting into them! Also super easy to build! I have 5 of these, one inside the enclosed pen under inside covered area! They hold more than 50lbs of feed!

Don’t even get me started! Today it’s ridiculous to pay for school. And for all the course work, a new graduate nurse hasn’t been given near the clinical experience to feel confident as a new RN responsible for her own patient assignment.
Exactly! My daughter had an amazing education, she did start at a Christian University, where she received an amazing scholarship, but she came away with a joint degree from there and the nursing school! She buckled down and paid off her student loans in less than a year! The cost of college is so crazy...there are way to many nonessential bloat classes!

My run is not particularly secure, except to keep chooks in and dogs out, so we have a rat family living nearby. It has made growing grass in the grazing frames a challenge as the rats will eat most of the seed before it can sprout. :he
That must be so frustrating!

Yes, these things are crazy fast and way beyond model airplanes! If you could see all of the structure on the inside to make them strong...well it's amazing and they also have to keep them as light as they can!
