@Shadrach is there some sort of fast growing vine that you could plant to provide some cover? Or perhaps cover it over with some fencing and weave something obnoxious looking through it. If only the chickens weren’t wont to peck at everything, I’d suggest ugly fake plants. If those are a cedar I think they may have been trimmed back hard enough to kill them. I’m thinking you could use some of our nasty feral rose hips being shipped out to you. Nice scent, not much for flowers, but all sorts of nasty thorny business. My chickens love them.

I was thinking something similar Kris. I once helped to clear out some bougainvillea that had run rampant through a garden. Some of the thorns were as long as my hand! I expect it is too cool in Shad's area for bougainvillea though.

The problem I have is this sort of poisonous crap is infectious. I came here to get away from stuff like this. I'm content with not much and being Bucket Boy. I do not want to become like the other people who live here.

You have your Tribes and us to help you avoid that particular pitfall.

This is Tap. I think she's watched everyone else moult and thought, I'll have a go at that. She's left it rather late and is discovering that it isn't such a great idea after all.
I felt so bad for her the night before last when it froze I brought her into the house for the night.
