I actually looked into that. I might even get some. But it looked complicated like buying skis.

I've often thought about it, we just haven't had much snow in the past few years. My boss and his wife cross-country ski every time it snows.

Everyone is holding steady after the snow. I even collected 9 eggs today!!

I tell you, layer feed is just too complicated to keep track of. Calcium on the side every time!

I do this. Free feed it in separate bowl. They eat it when they feel they need it.

Remembrances

Everyone knows my recent snowy day project. It is fun to look back and remember our friends from before. However, with Tsuki passing I was trying to stay away from any photos of Daisy, the greatest hen ever, as I did not want to cry. No matter my best efforts, I randomly came across this photo. Joyously, it did not make me cry, rather it brought a smile to my face.

Daisy, Patsy, and Lilly were our tribe for years. Only Lilly remains but this is the group that I will always picture when I think of our chickens. Here is the Big Three discussing what their next adventure should be. Hopefully it will make you all smile as it has me.
