I can't help with battery heat but I bet there is something. You already have the link to the cameras, thanks @drstratton I find them invaluable especially when making certain that everyone has roosted at night. I did not want to run electricity to the coop and so got these. Fast forward ahead I have an extension cord running to the coop for the heated water.Yes, I don't have any electricity running to my coop. It would be great if there was a battery run heat as well.
I hope you feel better soon!I'm rude I didn't say good morning to you all. A little under the weather here so hope you will forgive me.
Talking of weather it's windy and cold here today.
Hope to get back to you later.![]()
Thanks for the flowers!Good morning Rene.![]()
Last night I pulled out the camera that my husband bought me for Christmas, it's a UniFi G3 Flex. I was hoping to put up 3 cameras, but I'm not sure I will get to. I talked to my son about it, evidently I will have to put in a switch somewhere if I want more than one & my son isn't sure that it will last if I place it in the coop, but I think I want to try anyway or we will have to run 3 different Cat cables from the house. He's really into security & these cameras aren't completely web based, so my video will be stored on a hard drive here, but I will still be able to see it with an app on my phone. I'm thinking I'll buy an extra external drive just for my system. I really want to be able to keep an eye on my flock, especially when I'm traveling! Wireless would have been nice & less work...but this is the path they have put me on!I can't help with battery heat but I bet there is something. No matter, it is still easier to freely mount the cameras so I can cover all areas when I want. You can have them motion activated or you can turn them on manually via the app and look in. When watching live on the app you can record video or take photos. You get 1 month of free picture and video storage.
I always advice you to buy your cameras up front in a package as they are more expensive to add later. I want sure they would work so I only bought a couple originally. I paid more later.
She is just so precious!Chicken Say
First let me say how blessed I am to live in a time when we can share videos like this. It's wonderful to get at least some snippets of Eve.
I am so proud that she is being raised to understand chickens and speak their language. They say it is easier to learn a language when you are young.![]()
Confusion again? Okay, slow deep breaths, in and out. Relax, let confusion leave your head. Here we go I'm confused again.
I thought I read battery run cameras
Coco is already a trained snuggle chicken at four weeks old. I guess to some chicks, it just comes naturally.Oh gosh! Coco is the absolute cutest!!!
