This is Cillin thinking about risking going back to the tribes coop this evening.
All the rest of Tribe 1 have gone in. His coop, if he doesn't make it back to the tribes coop, will be placed behind the coop in the picture. My hope is Mel and maybe one other will move in with him. He has lived with me for long enough. He knows it and I know it. It may take a bit of time to get him used to roosting in his own coop.

Very slow at vaccinating here in Spain.

The last article I saw said the vaccination problem is rampant throughout Europe except the UK.

I move hens here that have set a clutch out in the wild and they will still sit.
The outside sitters I move at night into a coop, or maternity unit.
I've also moved hens 3 days before the eggs are due to hatch if for example they've been sitting in the house nest box. Moving them to a maternity unit means the mum and chicks have access to the outside as soon as the mum is ready.

You must have some trick to the move that the rest of us are missing. Not surprising actually.

I love Violet being nearly 6 but I miss every age that she’s passed and I will never experience again

I’ve finally caught up here and on MJ’s thread
We had our 7th wedding anniversary (15 years together) on Sunday (yes, the equinox! We were planning on getting married in Sweden on the spring equinox but settled for Healesville Sanctuary here in Vic on the autumnal one, long story!)
So that mixed in with a bit of rain and work being fatiguing emotionally/mentally I’m back and promise not to miss another mugs Monday!!
