Now you know the secret of those my hens laid two eggs in a day stories.
You were quite lucky. Technically your hen was egg bound. In many cases the second egg knocks the first egg out, but the second doesn't always follow until much later.
So while it's true a hen may lay two eggs in a day, she doesn't make two a day.

I was massaging her at the time she did it . It may have been my awful singing that rushed those eggs through

Now you know I sing to them.
