She is a lanky hen. Those legs go on for days! Adorable.

Hattie Update

Hattie very much seemed herself today, including an amazing sprint across the side yard that I caught while getting some coffee. She was just short of wing deployment. I have not caught her laying an egg yet. I would like to see that happen. Sadly, I have been trapped at my desk all day with no chance to stalk her for poo photos. I might be able to get out before dark but it seems unlikely with what I need to wrap up.

It seems like whatever it was has passed but I still have my eye on her and I have a whole weekend to spy on her.
