It's been a wild one that's for sure. He is indeed feeling better. He actually had an apatite and ate all his dinner.

Aww love the stories!!!
I have 5 hens all barred rocks.
Meanie (who was mean as a baby but very sweet now) and she loves cat treats .
Becka who was picked on as a baby chick by the others in the flock. I kept her because I felt bad for her and made an early connection. (I raised 16 chickens last summer for meat and kept 5 for eggs)
Laney, she's my favorite and loves to follow me and comes running for me whenever she sees me walking around, she's best buds with meanie.
Daliah- she's friends with bekah and is very protective of her.
Betsy-shes my biggest chicken and seems very motherly.

They all look the same but they all have certain markings that I can tell them apart by. They also have different personalities. They all love sunflowers and they seem like they enjoy music being played. This is them late last fall.

Haha!!! My ophthalmologist said I had a beautiful retina! One of the healthiest she had ever seen. Seriously! (this was when I poked my eye last year... and I was 50!)

I laugh but healthy is always good!

Poor Sydney. In the 11.04 video she looks like she's cued up for the only bathroom in the house.
"Hurry UP up up up ! Hurry UP up up up !"

A car is just that, life is far more important.

My cousin had to call her husband from hospital too tell him that his car was a right off, as we say here. He broke down and cried, then he asked if she was ok. She told him she was bruised but fine, he said then forget the car you're all I care about.

The worst is always the phone call that starts: I'm alright mum but... They were very blessed. The car was concertinaed.

That is the worst. You never get used to those kinds of calls. I still get them.

She wants babies, and I made her get up and (gasp) drink water! I know, how dare I. It has been more than a week, and even though we would love more babies, our coop isn't set up for them. It is a good 3' off the ground with a very basic and too steep ramp. Modifications need to happen before we can consider it.

Poor thing. That drive to be a mother can be all consuming.
